Student Scholarship Program
We have a limited number of generous scholarships available for college and mature high school seniors (>18) who would like to learn more about paleontology and participate in actual digs. Some schools will offer independent study credits for participation. Please contact Devin at 616-443-7814 to learn more about our scholarship program.

The price includes 6 nights lodging (double occupancy), all meals, transportation to and from the fossil sites, fossil identification services and expert guiding. We will also supply you with rock hammers, fossil extraction tools, walkie-talkies, glues and everything you need to extract and protect your amazing finds!
Cancellation Policy: If you have to cancel for any reason, please let us know within 30 days before your trip date. You have the option of either having us return your deposit or roll it over to the following year. If you cancel within 30 days of the start of your trip you will forfeit ½ of your deposit and we will roll the remaining balance to the following year.

2026 Session 01 — GLASGOW, MONTANA
NEW HELL CREEK RANCH ALERT(!) plus Judith River. We have landed a new Hell Creek Ranch to add to our outstanding Judith River Ranches. Folks who sign up for this week will get the best of Judith River, Bearpaw Shale (Ammonites!) and Hell Creek formations. The ranch is compact and ideal for people who like to hike and explore in relative solitude.
2026 Session 02 — NEW RANCH ALERT!: JORDAN, MONTANA
A new Hell Creek Ranch near Fort Peck with museum-worthy specimens, channel exposures, bone trails and what appears to be a largely intact Triceratops skull.
2026 Session 03 — BAKER, MONTANA
One of our most productive Hell Creek ranches ever. This huge ranch has produced several unique and amazing specimens and is also a great ranch for artifacts.
2026 Session 04 — BAKER, MONTANA
Student dig week. Scholarship opportunities are available for students interested in hands-on field experience, and the program is also open to older participants.
2026 Session 05 — NEWCASTLE, WYOMING
Lance Creek / Oligocene formations across nearly 50,000 acres with channel and microsite deposits, T-Rex teeth, bigger bones, theropod material, skulls, tortoises and Saber Tooth Cats.
2026 Session 06 — NEWCASTLE, WYOMING
Explore fossil-rich channel and microsite deposits, plus a day on a huge Oligocene formation ranch that has produced numerous skulls, tortoises and Saber Tooth Cats.
2026 Session 07 — NEW RANCH ALERT! LUSK, WYOMING
Split the week between new and established Oligocene ranches that have produced numerous skulls, tortoises and even Saber-toothed Animals.
